Line Tightness Testing
A line tightness test or Precision Line test is used to detect a leak as small as 0.1 gallon per hour (gph). The line is taken out of service and pressurized to 1.5 times its normal operating pressure. A drop in pressure over time may indicate suspected leak or release.
