Tank Tightness Testing
Tank Tightness Testing or Precision Tank Testing is an analytical method that uses either a volumetric or non-volumetric procedure to determine if a tank has a leak as small as 0.1 Gallons per hour (GPH). The Tank(s) must be taken out of service before the start of the test.

Some Insurance Companies require a tightness test before issuing a Policy on the UST system.
